Fund a Print Run

Every issue of The Parlor exists because readers decided it should. We don’t answer to shareholders or advertisers. Our print editions are paid for by the people who read them. When you fund a print run, you put an entire issue of independent, intersectional feminist journalism into the world: on doorsteps, on bookstore shelves, and in the hands of readers who won’t find these stories anywhere else.

One print run is 25 copies of a single issue, and your gift covers it from first draft to final delivery.

What one print run includes: - Paying the writers. Every contributor in our print issues is paid for their work. Your sponsorship helps ensure the people telling these stories are compensated fairly. - Original art. Cover art and illustrations made in-house, designed to be kept, framed, and passed along. Editing and fact-checking. Every piece goes through full editorial review before it reaches print. Printing. At least 25 copies on quality stock, made to last longer than a news cycle. - Shipping. Delivery to subscribers across the US and EU, and to the independent bookstores that stock us. - Getting the issue into new hands. Copies for stockists, community spaces, and readers discovering The Parlor for the first time.

The Parlor Magazine is fiscally sponsored by The Tiny News Collective (EIN 85-3963369), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. You are donating to The Tiny News Collective, which will hold your gift in a restricted fund for the charitable purposes of The Parlor Magazine but retains variance power in accordance with our fiscal sponsorship agreement with The Parlor Magazine and FASB Statements 958-605-25-25 and -26.
